I had so much fun spending an afternoon with them last weekend! And, man were they easy to photograph!
Best part? I didn’t even have to tell mom and dad to hold hands; they just did it. Because they wanted too!

This has turned into quite the busy October!
I am blogging my 10th session of the month right now and while it is slightly overwhelming, it’s still 100% fun!
I’m so happy to have had this photo session open up at Brookside Gardens in Wheaton last weekend.
Not every day a beautiful location falls into your lap and you just so happen to have a gorgeous and fun family ready and waiting to snap it up!

Sometimes photo shoots are hard.
They aren’t all pretty umbrella’s and flowing tutu skirts.
Sometimes kids just don’t want to have their photos taken.
At all.
And, that is when you just have to get creative.
And be happy for the patience of an easy going mom who has the positive energy of um, something super positive!

Welcome back, game fans.
We've got the Redskins and the Cowboys going head-to-head this holiday season as we hit the football field of a local high school to snap some shots of one of my favorite local families.
It's almost a crime to have these two teams on the field at the same time, but it's even more of a crime having so many cuties in one household!
Here's to another great year, football fans!
I grew up with just one lowly, younger brother.
He worshipped me. I attempted to avoid his dorkiness at all costs.
To this day, he continues to worship me. I avoid him less.
But, having a brother, is nothing like having a sister would have been.
I imagine we would have been like these two…
Silly smiles…
Closeness that can neither be forced nor denied…
Spending the morning with these two girls reminded me of all the things I missed out on by not having a sister. But it also helped me appreciate the fact that I had a brother.
At least no one borrowed my clothes…

It started as a dark and rainy day in Maryland.
We thought we were going to have to cancel. To reschedule for another day, later in the fall.
A day more pleasing to this natural light Maryland photographer.
Because to use natural light, there sorta needs to be some!
But, then.
Out of nowhere.
The sun came out.
And the day turn bright, and warm, and beautiful.
Allowing me to spend a fun afternoon with a beautiful little princess…
