Today some really great people…

Came together at a really great place…

And made a fun event possible.

So happy to be a part of the Deer Crossing community and it was my pleasure to spend a warm Saturday morning snapping pictures of smiling faces!

All of the event photos will be for sale at the Then Again Photography website starting Saturday, May 28, 2011.

If you purchase your race photo ($5 for a 5x7 image) the proceeds will be given to Deer Crossing Elementary School’s PTA to use for more fun events next year!

And, to sweeten the deal, TAP is also giving away a premium family photo shoot session to one lucky purchasing family you buys before the end of the school year!

Maryland Special Event Photography. The B. Family.

Prior to my being invited into the home of the B. Family, I’d never been to a Mundan before.

 

I didn’t even realize that the tradition some Indian families celebrate, in which they shave their child’s head, was such an exciting and lavish affair.

 

I learned all about it, while witnessing a beautiful family celebration, thanks to the B. Family.

 

I hope you enjoy your photos as much as I enjoyed the opportunity to capture them (and the Motichoor; so good!).

It's not everyday a girl gets to turn 80 years old!



And, when she does it only makes sense that her whole beautiful family makes it a point to show up to enjoy a piece of cake with her!
