With all of the rain we have been having a ton of shoots have been getting rescheduled. Or rained on.
Not fun for this photographer who loves taking her clients, especially those of the younger set, outside on little walks to capture their happy.
Fortunately, this day did not get ruined by rain!

I’m just gonna go ahead and be honest here and say that a really important chunk of what I do is based on luck.
Yeah, there’s some skill involved, and having good equipment and knowledge of lighting and such plays a part as well.
But sometimes it really just comes down to luck.
How lucky are you gonna be with the weather? How lucky are you gonna be with the location? How lucky are you going to be to have to completely gorgeous and down right adorable clients and their itty bitty puppy to photograph?
I got lucky like that this weekend…
Lucky that this day that started out wet and gross ended up bright and beautiful.
And lucky that these two gorgeous people busted out their smiles for me.
And, lucky that this puppy was only a tiny bit like some of my two year old clients as she mostly decided to hold still and smile at the camera. You know, mostly.
Thanks for making magic with me this weekend, guys; I love getting lucky!
This past weekend I stumbled upon a photographer’s dream place.
A spectacular, water-oriented location that has beautiful trees and rolling, grassy hills, and everything to make a beautiful back drop for some lovely family photos.
